Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.

Whether you’re a student, a parent, a professional, or simply a curious soul, the library can provide a fulfilling experience that’s both enriching and calming. Libraries are shelves lined with books- fiction, nonfiction, biographies, graphic novels, cookbooks, and more. But the beauty of a library is that these books are available to everyone, for free. Endless pages of wisdom and knowledge, for one to gain. Not only is the library filled with books, it can be filled with real life objects for us to learn from. The Aquascape is a perfect example how our little learners can gain knowledge from looking into the fish tank, learn about different species of fish, and how important marine life is.

Not only is the library open for all, in our busy lives, finding a place that’s truly quiet and free of interruptions can feel like a luxury, or for some it may be a place to escape reality.

Visiting the Public Library of Prince George during EDUC 394 was exciting, yet more knowledge for us to gain. Having the opportunity to sign up for a library card, getting a tour of the beautiful place, and adding another tool our “teacher tool box” is another way we can expand our knowledge, keeping our minds sharp and curiosity alive.

The Library is full of interactive learning for all ages.

“Having fun isn’t hard when you’ve got a library card.”
