Welcome to the corner of my world dedicated to two of the most important members of my family—my cats, Norriss and Kahlua! These two are more than just pets; they’re my loyal companions, daily sources of joy, and occasional mischief-makers.

Norriss Jane: The Gentle Soul

Norriss, the chunky monkey. Her epitome of grace and quiet confidence. With her thick, shiny black coat that seems to absorb the light, she’s a vision of elegance. Her relaxed posture says it all—Norriss knows how to take life at her own pace. Whether she’s stretching out on a cozy rug like this or finding the perfect sunbeam to lounge in, Norriss exudes an air of calm that’s simply contagious. As soon as i brought her home, i knew she was going to be the perfect cuddle buddy. She is most happy curled up by your neck, or under your blanket. When she is isn’t pawing everything off the counter, she can be found laying on the coffee table, or in front of the wood stove. With a cat being as big as she is, you think body heat wouldn’t be a problem, but that girl loves to be snuggled right into the heat. Whether she is curled up or keeping an eye on the world from the window, and mostly likely chirping to the birds. She is the cat you’ll find by your side during a relaxing evening, purring softly or licking your face raw. The big black beauty is incredibly affectionate and always ready for a cuddle. She is a selfie queen just like her mom.

Kahlua: The Playful Queen

This is Kahula, and as you can see, she’s not just any cat—she’s a spirited bundle of joy with a love for fun and adventure. Her soft, fluffy coat glows with warm brown tones, accented by striking tabby stripes that give her an effortless appearance. Those wide, expressive eyes are her secret weapon, capturing attention (and hearts!) in an instant. You can never have just one feline companion, so i knew when i met this little ball of fluff, she was coming home with me. She was in rough shape when she came into my hands. She had a scratched eye, dirty smelly fur and very under weight, i knew she was going to be a perfect fit to the family, and the best sister for Norriss. When the two first met, they were bound to be sisters. Kahula, on the other hand, is the adventurous spirit of the duo. Always curious, always playful. From scaling furniture to darting after toys, she’s a bundle of energy and keeps life exciting.
